Generate "automated reminder text" for recipients to check email.
When I create and schedule a detailed email it would be incredibly efficient and helpful to have a box to check that would generate and schedule a reminder text message for recipients to check their email that automatically goes out 10 minutes after the email without having to start the "New Message" process from scratch for that text. The most common feedback I get from our TIC recipients is they love receiving the "Be sure to check your email" text message that arrives shortly after the email. They often say that without it they would forget to check their email. For example, if a group is titled "Kid's Ministry" and someone in that ministry sends a weekly update via email through TIC, there could be a toggle to "Add reminder text". Users could create a default time delay (ie. 10 minutes from scheduled delivery of email) and message such as "Hi Parents, be sure to check your email for the latest updates from Kid's Ministry!" The system would always give the option to edit this default delay and message but it would be pre-populated and ready to confirm. The current process of clicking through "New Message", finding the group, titling the message, identifying the sender, composing the message, scheduling the message and then confirming....only to do it all again for the purposes of sending a reminder or companion text seems needlessly tedious. We often utilize emails with companion texts and find our open rates when emails are accompanied by text messages to be much higher. Please help us streamline/automate this process to better serve our congregation and be good stewards of our ministry leaders' time. Thanks!
