When its sunset I think it should go dark and more because our church lights go low when service starts and my other wed are dark and when I go back on this one it hurts my eyes because its white.

I have great news: Text In Church has a dark theme you can enable on the web app! 🎉
You'll just want to click on the circle with your initials in the upper right-hand corner, and you can set the dark theme right above where you log out. 
I hope this helps; I know how painful eye strain can be!
