Dave has about 500 student contacts to import and wants to assign tags (for example: student, 2028, Tims) directly during the CSV import, the same way Groups can already be assigned during import.

What's Behind It

Today, Groups can be assigned to contacts during import, but tags cannot. Tags can only be added afterward, on the contact record, one at a time or via bulk-select in the People section. For anyone importing a large list, that means a second manual pass after every import just to apply tags.

Add the ability to assign tags to contacts during CSV import, the same way Groups are assigned during import.
